Why We Started Medjoie

There’s a certain feeling you get from Mediterranean food when it’s done right. It’s not just the taste — it’s the simplicity. A good olive oil, a piece of feta, warm bread, a few olives… and suddenly it feels like a meal. It feels like care.
Over time, we noticed something: a lot of people love Mediterranean flavors, but finding the right ingredients isn’t always easy. You might find one good item here, another there, but rarely a place where everything feels consistent — thoughtfully chosen and genuinely good.
That’s why we started Medjoie. We’re building a Mediterranean specialty grocery and ready-to-eat concept for Port Coquitlam and the Tri-Cities, with a simple goal: make Mediterranean food approachable, high-quality, and part of everyday life — whether you cook often or you just want something delicious and ready to enjoy.
